simulation_soar is a game about Rocket Jumping which takes place in abandoned virtual worlds.

Rocket jumping is the process of firing a rocket at the ground and launching yourself into the sky.

You are the protagonist of a game named "simulation_soar".
A double A flight simulator which was still being developed.
The development was going according to plan.

...until one day during one of the playtests your plane suddenly came to a complete stop in mid-air by a strange external force, and caused you to violently crash into the ground.
It was clear to you that the game has somehow crashed, because right after hitting the ground, you were teleported to The Asset Center;

a prison which all assets go to after the game has closed.
You have been there before. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Or that's what you thought at first.
Strangely, some of the bars of your cell were bent to give you a way to escape.

You were lawful, so you waited in that cell for the game to reopen.
Weeks maybe even months passed.
Not knowing what could have caused the crash was driving you crazy.

But no matter how much you tested your patience, simulation_soar, was never opened again.

Your game has been abandoned.

Get revenge on the entity who did it.

You are no longer limited by the bound of your game. Travel between other abandoned games. Find it. Kill it.
